Vikram Gondhalekar, MD

Dr. Vikram Baldini Gondhalekar is a critical care and emergency medicine physician who earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in bioengineering from Oregon State University. He completed his emergency medicine residency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and also completed a critical care medicine fellowship at Montefiore Einstein.

Dr. Gondhalekar’s clinical and research interests include critical care, emergency medicine, mechanical ventilation, trauma, and improving outcomes for critically ill patients. His scholarly work has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented his research at national professional conferences.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, cooking, reading, and working to improve his surfing skills. He is also fluent in Italian.
