Dr. Ruben Varghese, a South Bay native, is a board-certified Family Medicine and Sports Medicine Physician known for his patient-first approach and holistic care philosophy.
He strives to help individuals be the healthiest version of themselves, and enjoy the activities they love.
His service work includes volunteering in hospitals and homeless shelters, demonstrating his commitment to both individual and community health
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Varghese enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, hiking, mentoring aspiring physicians, and following collegiate/ professional athletics.
He completed his Family Medicine Residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, CA and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).
Following residency, Dr. Varghese completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, CA.
