Bay, our physicians and staff are dedicated to providing a wide array of the highest quality
primary care and specialty services for our patients.
Torrance Memorial IPA is a multi-specialty physician network providing convenient access to high-quality and personalized care with over 500 primary care and specialty physicians, as well as nationally recognized Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Kalpana Sona Hool is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at UCLA-San Fernando Valley Program. She went onto complete a Kennamer Fellowship in Women’s Health at UCLA.
Dr. Hool has been practicing general internal medicine in the South Bay for over 20 years. She finds helping her patients very rewarding, and as one of her missions, she puts maintaining a healthy mind and body as the foundation for good health. She specializes in diabetes, nutrition, heart disease, asthma, women’s health, and geriatrics. She emphasizes the importance of patients’ involvement with their own care by empowering them with the knowledge and resources needed to live healthy and happy.
Dr. Hool loves spending time with her husband and two beautiful children. She enjoys hiking, cycling, aerobics, and traveling.
