Josefina Sanchez Baca-Asher, PA-C

Josefina Sánchez Baca-Asher is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) specializing in Orthopedics. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in psychology. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in 2008. 

Before moving to Southern California and joining Torrance Memorial Physician Network in 2019, Josefina practiced for ten years as an integral member of the orthopedic surgical teams at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, and Stanford Health Care in Redwood City, California.

She has experience creating non-surgical treatment plans for patients and doing surgical first assist for outpatient and inpatient procedures and takes pride in offering outstanding, compassionate and quality individualized patient care. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the California Academy of Physician Assistants.
