Dr. Jie Pan is a board-certified neurologist, and epileptologist. She completed her residency and training at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and then completed her fellowship training in epilepsy at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Southeast University Medical College in China. Dr. Pan is board certified in epilepsy by the American Board Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Pan also obtained a PhD from Nanjing University followed with research experience at the University of Texas Austin and Stanford University in the field of neuroscience. Her prior research has yielded several publications and has been invited to present at several American Academy of Neurology (AAN) conferences.
Dr. Pan is interested in general neurology, specializing in epilepsy, cognitive impairment and movement disorders. She cares for patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including headaches, seizures, movement disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy, and more.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with family. She is also fluent in Mandarin.
