Arthroscopic Surgery

Arthroscopic surgery is a minimally-invasive technique used by orthopedic surgeons to diagnose and treat joint problems. Through a small incision, the surgeon inserts a narrow tube attached to a fiber-optic camera and lighting system to view the inside of joints. This allows surgeons to easily diagnose and treat the joint injury without extensive surgery and recovery. With direct access to joints, orthopedic surgeons are able to easily correct a number of joint issues such as ligament tears and arthritis. Pain following the procedure is minimal and often times, patients are back to resuming daily activities within a few days.

Our orthopedic surgeons at Torrance Memorial Physician Network – Orthopedic & Spine center specialize in arthroscopic surgery. Our team of experts provides patients with appropriate and individual care in order to get those experiencing joint problems back to normal functioning.
