Torrance Memorial Physician Network staff is well trained to walk you through the paperwork, and speed up the insurance process so you can get care from one of the best cardiology practices in the South Bay.

Preparing for Your First Visit

If you are new to South Bay Heart, you may be asked to fill out some forms before your arrival. Done in advance, this can greatly decrease your wait time. In addition to your complete medical history, one of the most important pieces of information to provide your doctor is a complete list of medications (prescription and nonprescription, including over the counter) and their dosages. Also bring your insurance card, photo identification and referral from your physician.

During You First Visit

Your first visit with the South Bay Heart, best suited to your needs or preferences will usually involve a consultation to discuss your cardiac concerns. During the course of that discussion, an evaluation will be conducted to determine the best course of testing or treatment, if necessary.

Hospital Affiliation

We are proud to be affiliated with Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Torrance Memorial Medical Center is a locally governed, 401-bed, non-profit medical center whose purpose is to provide quality health care services. Torrance Memorial Medical Center is the home of Lundquist Cardiovascular Institute, a top heart care program in Southern California.

We are also affiliated with Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

The Torrance Memorial Delpit Cardiac Rehabilitation Center, a service of the Lundquist Cardiovascular Institute, recognizes that heart disease is both physically and emotionally traumatic for both the patient and the family. South Bay Heart comprehensive heart program includes Cardiac Rehabilitation, a recovery program designed for people who have coronary disease, electrical disorders or have had a heart attack, heart surgery or balloon angioplasty.
