Shintau Lin, MD

Dr. Shintau Lin is a Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley and received her medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. Dr. Lin completed residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Harbor-UCLA.
Dr. Lin is passionate about keeping patients healthy through an active lifestyle. She is fellowship-trained in treating musculoskeletal injuries, concussions, and other activity-related conditions. She is also experienced in non-surgical interventions for arthritis. Dr. Lin sees patients from adolescence to adulthood, and is experienced in managing active individuals including athletes, weekend warriors, and those looking to take their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle. She is fluent in English and conversational in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Lin serves as the team physician for a local high school football team and as the medical doctor for various races, events, and action sports. She enjoys being involved in the local South Bay community and encouraging people of all ages to stay active and keep their bodies moving.
Dr. Lin is originally from Chicago and moved to Los Angeles with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, snowboarding, cooking, cheering for Cal football, and spending time with friends and family.
