Shintau Lin, MD

Dr. Shintau Lin is a Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley and received her medical degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. Dr. Lin completed residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Harbor-UCLA. She is board certified in Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Lin is passionate about keeping patients healthy through an active lifestyle. She sees patients from adolescence to adulthood, and is experienced in managing active individuals including athletes, weekend warriors, and those looking to take their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Lin serves as the physician for a variety of sports teams and events including the Los Angeles Giltinis, Leuzinger High School Football, the Dew Tour, Los Angeles Rugby Club, AVP First, Special Olympics of Southern California, Ironman, and many local triathlons and races. She enjoys being involved in the local South Bay community and encouraging people of all ages to stay active and keep their bodies moving.
Dr. Lin is originally from Chicago and moved to Los Angeles with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, snowboarding, cooking, cheering for Cal football, and spending time with friends and family.
