Menopause: A Transition, Not a Disease

Torrance Memorial Events

Menopause is a natural occurrence every woman experiences, typically, in her midlife. While its average age is 51 years, it may emerge as early as 30, or as late as 60. For some, menopause is annoying and disruptive, while others—once its onset symptoms subside—find it liberating, as they experience what’s called a “menopausal zest.” Either way, it’s an inevitable stage of life—not a disease. Hear the latest options and guidelines on controversial hormonal therapies, as well as tips on diet, exercise and other lifestyle changes to help you manage this transition with grace.
