Dr. Jerome Unatin is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He began his
undergraduate education at the University of Florida and completed medical
school at the University of Miami where he received high academic honors.
After his internship at Philadelphia General Hospital, Dr. Unatin went
to military school as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. He has completed
orthopedic residencies at the University of Southern California, Rancho
Los Amigos Hospital Downey, and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
Dr. Unatin began private practice in 1971 and received board certification
in 1973 from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes
in general orthopedic hand surgery.
Dr. Unatin acted as the Political Action Committee Chairman for the California
Medical Association from 1974-1983 and as the President Chairman for the
Los Angeles County Medical Association Southwest District #9 from 1981-1983.
He also is a member of the Los Angeles County Medical Association Committee.
