Certified Physician Assistant, specializing in orthopedics and rehabilitation
Jeff Satterfield is a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). In 2016, he
joined Dr. Tiffany Rogers at the Torrance Memorial Physician Network Spine
Center. As a PA-C, he works under the supervision of the orthopedic doctors
in the practice to treat patients for a wide variety of orthopedic conditions.
Jeff is also Registered Kinesiotherapist and Physical Therapy Assistant.
He has specialized training and several years experience in these fields
helping patients regain strength, endurance, and mobility.
Jeff's background in physical therapy brings a unique skill set not
usually found in PA-C's. "I love being able to help patients
in need," says Jeff, "and provide them the best possible medical
care. People expect their medical care team to listen well and treat them
with respect, and I do. I love coming to work every day because I enjoy
helping my patients."
Jeff completed his Board Certification as a Physician Assistant in 2009.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from CSU Long Beach.
Since then, Jeff received education and several years experience first
as a physical therapist, and then in the more medically intensive rehabilitation
field of kinesiology. He trained as a PA-C from 2010-2014 at UC Irvine
in orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal oncology. He continued his training
further from 2014-2015 at the Orthopedic Speciality Institute in the Department
of Spine Surgery.
Jeff has a wife and two children and has always loved sports. His favorites
are soccer, skiing, skateboarding, and mountain biking. Living here all
of his life has given him an appreciation for the wonderful people and
lifestyle that are unique to the South Bay.
