Health Insurance

We work with most major health plans, including PPOs. Cancer Care also accepts Torrance Hospital IPA (THIPA) and Health Care Partners IPA - South Bay HMOs.*

How It Works

If Cancer Care is contracted with your current health plan, we will bill your insurance on your behalf. Please arrive at your appointment prepared to provide your insurance card along with current and accurate information, including your name, address and other important information. Your plan may require co-payments and deductibles that should be paid when you check in for service.

Please familiarize yourself with your plans' policies for oncology care. Pre-certification may be required for many of the treatments administered in our office. We will assist you with billing information or in planning for special financial arrangements for our services.

Please be aware that benefits vary depending on your plan. Some visits, procedures or tests, may not be covered. Balances not paid by your insurance are your responsibility and will be billed to you on a monthly statement. Please contact your insurance company for questions about your benefits, including coverage, participation, referral information, restrictions, deductible status and co-pay requirements.

If you are unsure about the status of your insurance carrier, please call 310-257-7205 or your insurance provider to find out if your plan is accepted at Cancer Care Assoicates.
